Physical Security Academy The
Federal Protective Services (FPS) needs a more appropriate Anti-Terrorism
and Physical Security Training facility to provide enhancement of physical
security exercises and future expansion requirements. It is anticipated
that this facility will be approximately 20,000 square feet. The new
facility will serve as the FPS National Training Center and will serve
as a model federal building for training. PRAD Group was commissioned
by the General Services Administration to prepare a feasibility study
for the proposed construction of the facility. The study consisted of
programming, preliminary conceptual design and cost estimating.
