PRAD Group Making Golden Years Brighter Dateline:
October 14, 2002 The Clayton County Senior Citizen Center is making news. Earlier this summer, the Riverdale facility was featured in the county’s largest newspaper, The Clayton Neighbor. The frontpage story touted how the center’s users “love [the] new senior center.” The article also quoted Clayton County Commissioner Virginia Gray as saying, “It’s a God-send. When I first toured it, I remember thinking that there’s so much more inside there than what I expected.” Much of the center’s success is due to the common sense design that PRAD Group brought to the project. Early last year the firm was selected to provide the architectural design and engineering services for this impressive 25,000 square foot facility. Aside from offering members the use of a large indoor therapeutic pool, the center boasts a state-of-the-art fitness room, a full-service kitchen, a computer lab, classrooms and a noise-proof library. |
